This page brings together the main boundaries of Teoriavalmis regarding access, licence categories, EAS training and the sources behind the practice questions.
Teoriavalmis is a theory test practice service. It is not a government service, a driving school or the publisher of the official theory test.
Access
Practice requires signing in and active access
The public pages and guides can be read without signing in or having access. The actual practice, the practice exam and progress tracking require you to sign in and to have active access to the chosen licence category.
Access unlocks theory test practice, traffic sign practice, the practice exam and progress tracking for the chosen licence category. It does not include official fees, a driving licence permit, EAS training, driving lessons or booking the official test.
Yes. The same user can have several active licence category access rights at the same time, for example separate access to category AM/120 and another to category T.
If the same licence category is activated again before your current access ends, the new period continues from the current end date. If your access has already ended, the new period starts from the new activation.
Access is specific to a licence category, and one licence category does not automatically include another. If the wrong licence category was activated for you, contact support so that the situation can be checked.
Licence categories and EAS
Teoriavalmis supports a defined scope of practice
Teoriavalmis supports theory practice for the AM/120 moped driving licence and the category T tractor driving licence. Practice for a driving licence for a light quadricycle (AM/121) is not available. Practice and access apply to the chosen licence category.
You can use Teoriavalmis to revise AM/120 or T theory independently. First check which practice is already included in your training. Teoriavalmis does not replace the required EAS training or provide driving instruction. Our guides explain the steps to obtaining the driving licence and the different costs.
No. Teoriavalmis does not offer EAS training, EAS certificates or packages that combine a licence category with EAS. Check the EAS requirements separately in official sources or with an approved training provider.
No. Teoriavalmis is not Traficom, Ajovarma, an examiner or any other government service. The service helps you practise, but the driving licence permit, official matters relating to the test and booking the theory test are handled through official channels.
No. The Teoriavalmis practice exam is for practice; it is not the official theory test or a testing service provided by an authority.
Sources and practice questions
The practice questions are based on official sources
No. The questions are original Teoriavalmis practice questions, not official test questions or test content published by an authority.
The content is based on official sources such as the Road Traffic Act, driving licence legislation, Traficom regulations and applicable EU legislation. These sources define the competence expected of a driver, and the theory test measures that competence.
During practice you see the explanation for every question. The questions are based on acts, decrees and guidance from Traficom and Liikenneturva (Finnish Road Safety Council); the full list of sources is on the home page.
We check the sources regularly. When an act, a decree or a Traficom regulation changes, we update the questions and study materials affected by the change.
The Learning Guarantee applies to users who have studied in line with its terms. Read the requirements and the instructions for a compensation request before the official test.
