Theory test pictures are made as 3D models

I started making picture questions. Traffic situations are modelled so that the signs and lanes are correct in the picture.

Why a 3D model

The theory test includes pictures of traffic situations, and the answer depends on what can be seen in the picture. Signs, lane markings and other road users therefore have to be in exactly the right places.

Roads, junctions and signs are built as a 3D model, and the camera is in the driver's position. The picture tasks cover a wide range of traffic situations, separately for learners preparing for the moped licence and those preparing for the tractor licence.

The answers for the moped and tractor licences are checked separately. For example, a sign prohibiting mopeds does not apply to tractors.

View from the driver's position towards a residential junction. A pedestrian is stepping onto a pedestrian crossing from behind a van, and a passenger car is visible on the side street to the right.
